It was really nice to see all the shows of support yesterday in the sub. Especially the Spartacus meme. Thank you everyone, it’s not always easy to get a sense for the community’s mood on a platform that is largely online and, let’s be honestly, mostly lurkers.
But then sometimes something will happen, and it’s very clear the community we’ve built on reddit means a lot to people, is huge, and is a part of a lot of people’s daily routine and lives. The work matters, and the results matter. That may not be obvious to random reddit admins off somewhere in California. They don’t get the reality on the ground.
In any case, I’m trying to still do this work from exile. I know it’s a pain, but if you enjoy the things I make for the movement you can subscribe to the email list here, (or just view it in the substack app if you don’t want more in your inbox.) I have a lot still to say, and a lot of organizing to do.
